World Theatre Day celebrated

LAHORE, Mar 27 (APP): The World Theatre Day was celebrated all over the world, including in Pakistan, on Friday.
In this connection, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said that theatre has the status of an academy for the industry. Theatre also has its own historical and unique status in Pakistan.
Furthermore, the theatre of Punjab has its own unique identity all over the world, she said. “Our mission is to make theatre a family theatre, and we have succeeded in this,” she added.
The government is taking effective and practical steps for the welfare of artists, she said.
