University of Narowal VC visits SCCI

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Vice Chancellor of the University of Narowal, along with Dr. Muhammad Haseeb Sarwar, Director of National Sports City, paid a visit to the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and held a productive meeting with Chamber President Ahtesham Mazhar.

SIALKOT, Mar 26 (APP): Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Vice Chancellor of the University of Narowal, along with Dr. Muhammad Haseeb Sarwar, Director of National Sports City, paid a visit to the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and held a productive meeting with Chamber President Ahtesham Mazhar.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed with a particular focus on strengthening industry–academia linkages to align academic output with the evolving needs of export-oriented industries. The President was apprised that the University of Narowal, established as a public sector institution in 2018, currently offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs through multiple departments, equipped with modern academic and research facilities aimed at producing industry-ready graduates.
The delegation also shared insights into the National Sports City Narowal project, envisioned as a state-of-the-art sports infrastructure initiative featuring multi-sport facilities, athlete accommodation, and international-standard amenities designed to promote sports excellence and regional development.
Both sides expressed a shared commitment to fostering collaboration in areas such as skills development, research partnerships, and youth engagement, recognizing the importance of academia–industry synergy in strengthening Pakistan’s economic and human capital landscape.
