Strict supervision, transparency during SSC exams; Commissioner

Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engineer Amir Khattak chaired a review meeting on Thursday regarding the upcoming Matric (First Annual) 2026 examinations organized by the Rawalpindi Education Board. He emphasized that providing students with a peaceful environment and ensuring transparency in the examination process is the administration’s foremost responsibility.

RAWALPINDI, Mar 26 (APP): Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engineer Amir Khattak chaired a review meeting on Thursday regarding the upcoming Matric (First Annual) 2026 examinations organized by the Rawalpindi Education Board. He emphasized that providing students with a peaceful environment and ensuring transparency in the examination process is the administration’s foremost responsibility.
Also the chairman of the Board, the commissioner directed that all Deputy Commissioners, Add’l Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and relevant divisional heads should visit examination centres within their jurisdictions to assess arrangements and monitor the performance of supervisory staff. The Commissioner stressed that any irregularity reported during the exams should be acted upon immediately, with FIRs registered against responsible individuals.
He said that students must enter the exam halls confident that their hard work will not be compromised. Strict measures will be taken to prevent cheating and unauthorised interventions. Teachers assigned to examination duties must maintain attendance, with backup panels prepared to address any emergency. Non-compliance will result in strict disciplinary action.
The meeting at the Commissioner’s office was attended by Controller Exams Tanveer Asghar, Additional Commissioner Coordination Zinia Humayun, Additional Commissioner Mansoor Ahmed Khan, CEOs Education, college directors, and Deputy Commissioners of Attock, Jhelum, Murree and Chakwal via video link.
