A police spokesperson said on Tuesday that Constable Sipurd Ali embraced martyrdom 28 years ago while bravely confronting dacoits in Kasur district. His sacrifice, the spokesperson added, remains a lasting symbol of courage and dedication to duty.
Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar said the sacrifices of martyrs would always be remembered and honored. He noted that the bravery and commitment of such heroes have helped ensure a safer future for society.
“The unparalleled sacrifices of our martyrs are a source of pride, and we remain committed to preserving their legacy,” he said.
He further emphasized that the welfare of the families and children of martyrs is a top priority for the police department, adding that all available resources are being utilized to provide maximum support and facilities to both the families of martyrs and serving personnel.
