Police arrests 700 people for violating Tenancy Act

LAHORE, Apr 05 (APP): Lahore Police, this year, arrested 700 individuals and registered 360 cases for violating

the Tenancy Act.

CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana has said that strict implementation of the Tenancy Act is being ensured in the provincial capital so that the city can be made safe.

Strict enforcement aims to ensure security through tenant registration, targeting landlords and tenants who fail to report occupants.

Police conduct regular crackdowns, with recent operations resulting in hundreds of arrests, he said.
