Partly cloudy conditions persist in Lahore

LAHORE, Mar 17 (APP):Partly cloudy conditions persisted in the city on Tuesday, with the MET office forecasting similar weather over the next 24 hours.
According to officials, a westerly wave was influencing the western and upper regions of the country and was expected to continue affecting the upper areas until tonight.
They stated that most parts of the country would experience partly cloudy and generally dry weather. However, a few areas in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to receive light rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms.
On Tuesday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Mithi, where the mercury climbed to 40°C, while Lahore recorded a comparatively mild maximum temperature of 23°C.
