ATTOCK, Mar 23 (APP): A simple yet dignified ceremony was held at District Council Attock to mark Pakistan Day, where the national flag was hoisted amid a vibrant display of patriotism. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Waqas Aslam Marth attended as chief guest and ceremoniously raised the flag, while the national anthem was played and participants stood attentively. The event was notably well-organized, reflecting both respect and enthusiasm for the historic occasion.
Among those present were Assistant Commissioner Arif Qureshi, Admin Officer to Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Ahmed, DSP Sardar Azhar Shabbir Khan, along with officials from Rescue 1122, Para Force, Municipal Committee Attock, and District Council staff. Moreover, the attendees participated wholeheartedly, demonstrating a deeply rooted sense of national pride and unity throughout the proceedings.
Addressing the gathering, Waqas Aslam Marth highlighted that March 23 represents a profoundly significant and historic milestone in the freedom struggle of the Muslims of the subcontinent.
