PA speaker greets nation on Eid

Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, particularly people of Pakistan, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, saying the festival embodies joy, gratitude, brotherhood and compassion.

LAHORE, Mar 20 (APP):Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, particularly people of Pakistan, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, saying the festival embodies joy, gratitude, brotherhood and compassion.
In his message on Friday, he said the teachings of Ramadan instill piety, patience and sacrifice, urging people to incorporate these values into their daily lives. Referring to the challenges faced by the country, he stressed the need to promote national unity, harmony and tolerance to overcome internal and external issues.
The speaker paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism,
terming them a source of pride for the entire nation, and prayed for the elevation of ranks of martyrs and patience for their families.
He also expressed hope that Eid-ul-Fitr would bring peace, progress and prosperity to the country and prayed for unity and collective advancement of the nation.
