KHANEWAL, Mar 12 (APP): Sadar Mian Channu police busted a notorious robber gang and arrested three criminals besides recovering looted valuables from their possession on Thursday.

In line with special directives of the District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Abid, the Sader Mian Channu police under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Waqar, launched a special operation against criminals involved in depriving citizens of valuables at gunpoint. The police busted the notorious Haidri Gang and arrested three members of the gang including the ring leader Haider alias Haideri, Husnain Haider and Jamal alias Kamal.

The police have recovered looted valuables including mobile phones, cash Rs 300,000 and illegal weapons from their possession by tracing nine cases from them.

Further investigations were underway from the arrested criminals and more recoveries were expected from them, police sources added.
