Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officer of the 43rd Common,Asadullah has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) (Operations) Punjab Food Authority (PFA) and has assumed charge of his office on Tuesday.
Newly-appointed ADG (Ops) takes charge at PFA

LAHORE, Mar 31 (APP): Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officer of the 43rd Common,Asadullah has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) (Operations) Punjab Food Authority (PFA) and has assumed charge of his office on Tuesday.
Prior to this appointment,he served as CEO Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Attock.
He has also served as ADC (Revenue) Muzaffargarh, Assistant Commissioner Islamabad and Assistant Commissioner Mardan.
According to a PFA spokesperson,after assuming charge,Asadullah said that strict action would be taken under a zero-tolerance policy against adulteration mafia, adding that elimination of food adulteration and provision of quality food at all levels would be his top priority.
He said that the mission and vision of the Director General (DG) PFA would be implemented in letter and spirit, while efforts would be made to bring improvement and innovation in the food industry alongside ensuring provision of safe food to the public.
The newly appointed Additional DG said that facilitation of food businesses, use of modern technology and expansion of awareness among food business operators would also be prioritized.
He warned that no leniency would be shown towards those involved in food fraud and strict action would be ensured across the board.
