Mobile phone snatching attempt foiled, two arrested

LAHORE, Mar 09 (APP): Police took timely action and arrested two robbers while snatching mobile phones from citizens in Gujarpura area here on Monday.

According to the police, the suspects were busy robbing citizens at gunpoint near a drain near China Scheme, when the Gujarpura police reached the spot and arrested both the suspects.

During the initial investigation, the suspects have confessed to committing several robbery incidents. The police say that the arrested suspects have been identified as Qasim and Irfan.

The police have also recovered two mobile phones, a pistol and bullets from the possession of the suspects.

According to the police, a case has been registered against the suspects and they have been handed over to the Investigation Wing for further investigation.
