ME Situation: 52 bilateral flights canceled from airports

Due to the tension in the Middle East (ME), 52 international flight operations from Pakistan have once again been severely affected.

LAHORE, Mar 30 (APP):Due to the tension in the Middle East (ME), 52 international flight operations from Pakistan have once again been severely affected.
According to airport sources, 52 bilateral flights to the Middle East have been canceled from various airports across the country today.
The canceled flights include flights of PIA, Airblue, Air Arabia, Kuwait Airways, Iran Air, Iraqi Air, Qatar Airways and Emirates, among other airlines.
According to the details, 20 bilateral flights to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Dubai and Riyadh were canceled from Karachi Airport, while 2 flights to Bahrain were canceled from Islamabad Airport, and 18 bilateral flights to the Middle East were canceled at Lahore Airport.
Similarly, 10 flights from Peshawar Airport to Doha, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi were canceled, 2 flights from Multan Airport to Dubai were canceled, while 6 flights from Sialkot Airport to Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi were canceled.
On the other hand, international flight operations from Faisalabad Airport are continuing as usual.
Airport sources say that the total number of canceled flights from Pakistan to the Middle East has reached 2406 during the last 30 days, due to which passengers are facing severe difficulties.
