Man killed, woman injured in fight over old dispute

MULTAN, Mar 27 (APP): A man was killed and a woman injured in a clash between two groups over an old transaction dispute on Old Shujabad road on Friday.

According to rescue officials, members of rival groups attacked each other during the altercation. As a result, Muhammad Rashid(44) died on the spot.

Meanwhile, Nusrat Bibi(45) sustained injuries to her arms and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The body was later shifted to Nishtar Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The reason of incident occurred due to old enmity between the two groups.

Cases have been registered by both sides while further investigation was underway.
