Lahore experiences rain, hailstorm

LAHORE, Mar 31 (APP):The provincial capital and adjacent areas on Tuesday evening received rain and hailstorm which turned the weather pleasant.
After the rainfall, cool winds led to a drop in temperature. Rain associated with gusty winds and hailstorm created ponds on various locations including Shimla Hill, Qartaba Chowk, Laxmi Chowk, Railway Station, Nishter Town, Johar Town and Davis Road.
Water and Sanitation Agency Lahore stated that 50 mm of rain was recorded in Nishtar Town, 32 mm in Johar Town, 16.5 mm on Jail Road, 16.6 mm in Gulberg, and 19 mm in Chowk Nakhuda.
