RAWALPINDI, Mar 26 (APP):A fresh wave of greenery is transforming the historic Liaquat Bagh as the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi takes special measures to enhance its beauty and make it more attractive with the arrival of spring.

On the directions of Managing Director, Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, comprehensive arrangements have been made for the decoration, renovation and upkeep of colourful flowers and plants in the park.

A spokesman for the agency said on Thursday that work was under way to beautify parks across the district, with particular focus on maintaining lush green belts along Liaquat Road to complement the park’s landscape.
He said regular care and maintenance of plants and flowers were being ensured, while special measures had been adopted to protect them from seasonal changes so that their growth continued in a healthy manner.
The blooming flowers and thriving greenery are presenting a vibrant spring scene, turning the park into a centre of attraction for visitors. The pleasant and well-maintained environment is providing citizens with an improved recreational and aesthetic experience.
The spokesman said the initiative aimed to offer a clean, safe and visually appealing environment, adding that the staff were carrying out gardening and maintenance work with dedication and responsibility, significantly enhancing the overall beauty of the park.
Citizens have appreciated the efforts and expressed the hope that similar measures would continue in other parks across the district.
