FAISALABAD, Apr 07 (APP):Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) will hold its sixth annual convocation on April 09, 2026 (Thursday) at Jinnah Hall of the university where degrees will be awarded to graduating students of various academic programs.
According to university spokesperson, PhD degrees will be conferred upon the scholars from academic sessions 2015-2018, 2016-2019, 2017-2020, 2020-2023 and 2022-2025.
MS/MPhil students of session 2023-2025, ADP and B.Ed (1.5 years) students of session 2023-2025 and BS students of session 2021-2025 will also receive their degrees during the ceremony.
The university administration has made it mandatory for all graduating students to attend the rehearsal a day prior to the convocation while alumni registration will also be conducted on the rehearsal day.
The position-holder students receiving medals would be allowed to bring one parent along to attend the ceremony.
All participating students have been directed to ensure their presence at the university at 9:30 a.m. on both the rehearsal day and the convocation day to ensure smooth conduct of the event, the spokesperson added.
