RAWALPINDI, Mar 19 (APP):Parks and main roads across the city, adorned with colourful flowers and plants by the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, have been readied for residents to enjoy the festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr in a scenic and festive environment.
According to a HA spokesman, the Agency has undertaken special measures on the directions of Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha to decorate the city and enhance recreational facilities ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, providing a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere during the festive occasion.
The spokesman said beautification work had been completed on major roads, intersections, green belts and parks across the city. Prominent areas, including Murree Road, Double Road, Faizabad, Rawal Road and Ojri Camp, were adorned with flowers and plants, presenting a vibrant outlook.
He said parks and public spaces had been prepared to accommodate an expected influx of visitors during the Eid holidays, ensuring a clean and green environment for families.
Managing Director Ranjha said Eid-ul-Fitr was a festival of sharing joy and harmony, and the Agency was striving to provide the best possible recreational facilities to the public.
He said the Agency’s staff remained committed to facilitating citizens and expressed hope that the public would cooperate with the district administration in maintaining cleanliness during Eid-ul-Fitr.
