LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): Chairperson Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Sarah Ahmad has been
recognized for her outstanding services towards the protection, welfare, and promotion of children’s rights.
A spokesperson for the CPWB said on Monday, the Chairperson received the prestigious Hum Women Leaders Award at a graceful ceremony held to acknowledge individuals for their exemplary contributions in various fields. Sarah Ahmad was honoured for her remarkable efforts in safeguarding children and advancing their welfare and rights.
Expressing gratitude on the occasion, Sarah Ahmad thanked Almighty Allah for the recognition, stating that the award was both an honour and a significant responsibility.
She dedicated the achievement to her entire team and all those working tirelessly for the protection and well-being of children.
She also extended special thanks to Hum TV for nominating her for the award and credited Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her continuous guidance and support, which she termed instrumental to her success.
The chairperson said she would continue to work with greater dedication, sincerity, and passion to promote child protection and welfare across the province.
She also acknowledged the support of her family and team, whose relentless efforts, she said, have helped translate the bureau’s vision into reality.
She said the award not only recognizes her individual achievements but also reflects the collective performance of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau in promoting and safeguarding children’s rights throughout Punjab.
