CPO Hamdani holds open courts at police stations to hear public complaints

City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani held open courts at several police stations to hear public complaints and review policing matters in line with the vision of the Punjab chief minister.

RAWALPINDI, Mar 12 (APP): City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani held open courts at several police stations to hear public complaints and review policing matters in line with the vision of the Punjab chief minister.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesman, the open courts were held at Saddar Beruni, Civil Lines, Women and Chaklala police stations where a large number of citizens attended and presented their issues.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, the Chief Traffic Officer, divisional superintendents of police, circle sub-divisional police officers (SDPOs), station house officers (SHOs) and investigating officers were also present on the occasion.
The CPO listened to the complaints of the citizens and issued on-the-spot directions for their resolution.
He directed police officers to deal with citizens visiting police stations in a courteous manner and ensure the prompt resolution of their issues.
Hamdani said service delivery, merit and the rule of law would be ensured at all costs, adding that protection of life and property of citizens and provision of facilities remained the top priority in line with the directives of the Punjab chief minister.
The CPO also reviewed the front desk, record, lock-up and other administrative arrangements of the Saddar Beruni, Women and Civil Lines police stations, and issued necessary instructions.
He also visited the Tahaffuz Markaz and reviewed the facilities being provided to citizens, the spokesman added.
