ATC adjourns hearings in 12 PTI protest cases without proceedings

The Anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday adjourned hearings in 12 cases related to the May 09 and November 26 protests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) without any proceedings.

RAWALPINDI, Mar 30 (APP):The Anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday adjourned hearings in 12 cases related to the May 09 and November 26 protests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) without any proceedings.

The court deferred hearings in 11 cases pertaining to the May 9 incidents till April 13 after allowing the accused to leave following attendance.

In a separate case registered over the November 26 protest, the court accepted a plea seeking exemption from appearance filed by Aleema Khanum, sister of the former PTI chairman, and adjourned the hearing till April 6.
