ISLAMABAD, Apr 01 (APP):Secretary of the Pakistani-American organization “Stand With Pakistan” and a renowned Pakistani professional in the US health sector, Sohail Pirzada, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House here on Wednesday and discussed the role of overseas Pakistanis and investment opportunities in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the Governor said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offers vast investment opportunities in tourism, health, and information technology sectors, adding that the province also has a skilled workforce.
He urged overseas Pakistanis to take advantage of these opportunities and play an effective role in strengthening the country’s economy.
Faisal Karim Kundi further said that a conducive environment is being provided in the province to attract overseas Pakistani investors, businesspersons, and professionals.
On the occasion, Sohail Pirzada appreciated the Governor’s vision of declaring Peshawar and New York as sister cities, terming it a historic initiative.
He said that such a development would significantly enhance the capacity of students, entrepreneurs, and public institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and further strengthen international linkages.
