TikToker Sana Yousaf murder case: hearing deferred to March 30 without proceedings

ISLAMABAD, Mar 26 (APP): The District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad on Thursday deferred the hearing of the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf to March 30 without proceedings due to the absence of the state counsel, while the victim’s mother urged for early justice.
The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka. During the hearing, government prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain appeared before the court.
However, the proceedings could not move forward as the state counsel was not available. The court decided to adjourn the hearing without any formal action in the case.
Following the adjournment, Sana Yousaf’s mother became emotional in the courtroom and called for early justice. She requested the court to ensure that the case is decided without delay.
The court, after noting the situation, postponed further proceedings and fixed March 30 as the next date of hearing.
The case will now be taken up again on the scheduled date, where further proceedings are expected to take place in the presence of all concerned parties.
