TikToker murder case: hearing adjourned till April 6

ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (APP):The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf until April 6 after proceedings could not move forward due to the case being under review in the High Court.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka presided over the hearing.
During the proceedings, the government prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain appeared before the court and presented the case details. However, the hearing could not proceed with the cross-examination of further witnesses.
The delay occurred because the matter was also under consideration in the High Court. Due to this, the trial court did not continue with witness statements or questioning during the session.
Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka directed that if the High Court has issued any order regarding the trial, it should be submitted before the court by Monday. The judge stressed the need to clarify the status of the case before moving ahead with further proceedings.
Following this, the court adjourned the hearing and set the next date for April 6.
The case related to the killing of Sana Yousaf, a TikToker, and was currently being heard at different judicial levels.
