ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday said that the passing of Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a man of clear conscience and a sincere, loyal companion of the party, is an irreparable loss to the nation’s intellectual and literary circles.
In his condolence message, the minister stated that Siddiqui’s literary insight and gentle nature will forever be cherished.
He said Irfan Siddiqui’s life was defined by knowledge, character, and service, and that he was a symbol of guidance, kindness, and patience.
The nation will continue to draw strength and inspiration from his character.
Tarar noted that Senator Siddiqui’s passing is a major intellectual and moral loss.
He described him as a guiding light in literature, a loyal companion, and a humble, soft-spoken leader whose life and character will remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
He added that Siddiqui’s kind smile, intellectual depth, and unwavering patience will forever be remembered. Calling him a true patriot and a man of remarkable sincerity toward the party, Tarar prayed that Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
Tarar said Senator Siddiqui was among the longtime companions of his grandfather, the former President of Pakistan. News of his passing has brought profound sorrow to their hearts, and the grief of his family is shared as their own. He emphasized that Siddiqui’s love for knowledge, his grace, and his dignified manner will always be remembered.
“We mourn the loss of an elder, a teacher, and a cherished family companion who was a constant source of wisdom and affection. Irfan Siddiqui was not only a close associate but also an intellectual companion to my grandfather, the former President of Pakistan. His passing leaves behind a void that can never truly be filled. In this moment of sorrow, his family’s grief is our family’s grief. May Allah grant him forgiveness, mercy, and the highest place in Jannah,” Tarar said.
He concluded, “Their family’s grief is our family’s grief. We extend a heartfelt salute to a life defined by knowledge, dignity, and grace. In honoring this legacy, we celebrate not only the wisdom shared but also the values that continue to inspire generations.”
