ISLAMABAD, Apr 03 (APP): Strong tremors were felt in Islamabad on Friday, prompting IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to direct all police officers to assess the situation in their respective areas.
An official told APP that the IGP instructed officers to immediately review conditions on ground and ensure timely response in case of any emergency.
IGP Rizvi directed that if any untoward incident had occurred in any area, immediate assistance should be provided without delay.
Rizvi also ordered all officers to submit prompt reports from their respective jurisdictions regarding the situation.
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and maintaining vigilance during emergency situations.
