ISLAMABAD, Mar 27 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza reviewed security arrangements for Friday prayers across the federal capital and issued necessary directions to police officers.
An official told APP on Friday that comprehensive security arrangements were made across the district to ensure safety of worshippers during Friday prayers.
SSP Qazi inspected security measures at various mosques and reviewed deployment of police personnel.
Qazi directed officers to remain alert and perform their duties with professionalism to maintain law and order.
The official said strict monitoring of security arrangements was ensured, while effective coordination among police units was also maintained.
He added that special attention was given to sensitive locations to avoid any untoward incident.
Islamabad Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring protection of citizens and maintaining peace across the capital.
