ISLAMABAD, Nov 09 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police enhanced security across churches in the federal capital as SSP Operations Capt (R) Ali Raza Qazi personally reviewed security arrangements to ensure the safety of citizens and worshippers during Sunday services.
An official told APP on Sunday that the initiative was undertaken under the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who directed strict implementation of comprehensive security measures around all places of worship.

During the visit, SSP Operations Ali Raza Qazi reviewed police deployment and inspected the arrangements outside and around various churches. He met with church management representatives, issued on-the-spot directions to enhance coordination, and ensured that security staff remained fully alert.

He said that Islamabad Police is fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens without any discrimination, adding that maintaining peace and harmony is among the top priorities of the force.
The SSP urged the Christian community and all worshippers to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious activity immediately to the nearest police station or the emergency helpline Pucar-15.
SSP Qazi further said that Islamabad Police continues to perform its duties with dedication, professionalism, and national spirit to ensure peace and safety across the city
