ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested six members of three organized criminal gangs during separate operations in the federal capital, recovering snatched valuables and weapons from their possession.
A police spokesperson told APP on Thursday that police teams from Kirpa, Karachi Company, and Aabpara police stations conducted a major crackdown and apprehended six accused involved in multiple incidents of armed robbery at gunpoint.

He said the police recovered snatched cash, valuable mobile phones, a motorcycle, and weapons with ammunition used in criminal activities. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, while further investigations are underway.
The spokesperson said the accused were wanted by Islamabad Police in robbery and other heinous crime cases. During preliminary investigation, the arrested individuals confessed to their involvement in multiple criminal incidents, he added.

DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq said indiscriminate action would continue against criminal elements depriving citizens of their valuable assets.
He said ICT Police was carrying out large-scale operations against organized and active gangs, adding that such operations would persist to ensure peace and security in the federal capital.
