Serving as Associate Professor of Psychology and Chairman of the Department, Prof Awan earned wide recognition for his academic excellence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to student development.

Over the years, he played a pivotal role in strengthening psychology education and mentoring generations of students.

A farewell ceremony, organized by the teaching fraternity of Federal Government Colleges, was attended by prominent educationists including Prof Javaid Iqbal Gondal, Muhammad Shamoon, Muhammad Ashraf, Mehdi Hussain, Tahir Mahmood, and Manzar Zafar Kazmi.

Speakers on the occasion paid rich tribute to Prof Awan’s calm demeanor, professional competence, and dedication to both colleagues and students.

They described his contributions as enduring and impactful, noting that his departure marks the conclusion of a “golden era” in the institution’s academic journey.
