ISLAMABAD, Nov 28 (APP):The Senate proceedings were paused for half an hour after quorum was found incomplete during the question hour.
The situation arose when Senator Mohsin Aziz pointed out the lack of quorum soon after the session began.
Following the objection, Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani directed that bells be rung for five minutes to allow members to return to the hall. Despite the announcement, the attendance did not meet the required count.
With the quorum still incomplete, the chairman suspended the sitting for 30 minutes. The break aimed to give members additional time to reach the chamber so the session could resume its agenda.
