ISLAMABAD, Nov 04 (APP): The Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), Masanori Kondo, visited the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Headquarters ON Tuesdasy.
He was received by PTA Chairman, Major General (R) Hafeez-ur-Rehman, SI, Authority members Muhammad Naveed (Member Finance) and Dr. Khawar Siddique Khokhar (Member Enforcement and Compliance), along with senior officers.
The meeting focused on enhancing regional cooperation in telecommunications, digital transformation, and capacity building.
The Secretary General appreciated PTA’s active role in APT initiatives, while the Chairman reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing regional collaboration for a digitally inclusive Asia-Pacific region.
