ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP): Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ramna Circle Zulfiqar Abbasi held an open court (Khuli Katcheri) at Jamia Masjid Faizan-e-Madina in Sector G-11, Islamabad, to directly listen to public complaints and issues.
A police spokesperson told APP on Friday that during the open court, SDPO Zulfiqar Abbasi met citizens, heard their problems on the spot and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for their timely resolution.
The spokesperson said the initiative aimed to strengthen public trust, ensure quick redressal of grievances and promote community-oriented policing in the area.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police ensured effective and comprehensive security arrangements at all mosques across the federal capital on the occasion of Friday prayers to maintain law and order and facilitate worshippers.
Islamabad Police remain committed to public facilitation, effective policing and ensuring the safety and security of citizens, the spokesperson added.
