Rs 2650 allocates for educational schemes of ICT

ISLAMABAD, Jun 27 (APP):Around, Rs 2650 million has been allocated under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the ongoing and new educational schemes in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) against the demand of Rs 8725 million by the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD).
Among few old educational schemes launched under CADD, Rs 500 million had been reserved for the establishment of Federal Government College of Home Economics, Management Sciences and Specialized Disciplines F-11/1 Islamabad.
According to the details, Rs 845 million had also been allocated for renovation/rehabilitation of physical infrastructure of 200-educational institutions under Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme initiated in ICT.
An amount of Rs 400 million would be spent for the upgradation of ICT high Schools, while Rs 27 million would be utilized for upgradation of National Special Education Centre for hearing impaired children from higher secondary to graduation level, H-9/4.
However, under PSDP releases among few new schemes, an amount of Rs 200 million would be spent for the establishment of SMART Schools in federal capital; while Rs 100 million had been allocated for the establishment of Islamabad Model College for Girls G-14/4.
An amount of Rs 50 million had been reserved for the establishment of Islamabad Model College for Boys Pakistan Town, while Rs 10 million allocated for upgradation of Government Polytechnic Institute for Women, H-8/1.
