ISLAMABAD, May 29 (APP): Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Dan Stoenescu on Thursday met with Managing Director Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Muhammad Asim Khichi and discussed strengthening media cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador emphasized the importance of exchanging journalists between APP and Romania’s Agerpress news agency to enhance news exchange. He also highlighted the need to utilize modern information exchange tools in the digital age.
The two sides explored ways to deepen cooperation in the media industry, including language exchange and collaboration under multilateral mechanisms.
Additionally, Ambassador Stoenescu expressed interest in enhancing cooperation in tourism education and promoting people-to-people contact to foster better understanding between the two nations.
MD Asim Khichi assured the ambassador of APP’s commitment to providing all possible assistance to support media cooperation and news exchange between the two countries.
Both sides expressed optimism about further collaboration on news exchange and working together for mutual benefit.
