LAHORE, Jan 19 (APP):Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana on Friday called on former premier Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and discussed the current political situation in the country during a meeting at Jati Umra, here.
According to press release issued here, the political scenario in Multan, party issues and development works came under discussion as well. PML-N youth leader Muhammad Asif Rajwana was also present during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, former premier Nawaz Sharif said his heart beat with the people of Multan, party-workers and the youth, adding the young workers were the greatest asset of PML-N as the country’s future lay in the hands of youth.
PML-N youth leader Malik Muhammad Asif Rajwana invited former Premier Nawaz Sharif to visit Multan which he happily accepted.
Earlier, Punjab Govenror Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana offered Friday prayer with former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and also attended a Mehfil-e-Milad at the latter’s residence.
