During the session, CDA officials highlighted investment prospects in the hotel industry, particularly the need for additional five-star facilities.

They said the current number of such hotels in Islamabad falls short of meeting rising demand driven by diplomatic activity and tourism.

Randhawa told participants that Islamabad offered “excellent opportunities” for investors, noting its position as a regional diplomatic and tourism hub.

He added that prime locations were available for hotel development and assured investors of the authority’s facilitation under its investor-friendly policies.

Officials briefed participants on ongoing and planned projects in the hospitality sector, while also outlining incentives and support mechanisms available to foreign investors.

Qatari participants expressed interest in the opportunities presented and indicated they would further evaluate potential investments in the capital’s hotel industry.

Both sides agreed to continue engagement to promote cooperation in the hospitality sector, with the CDA reiterating its commitment to facilitating foreign investment.
