On the directions of the Commissioner Rawalpindi and Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Engineer Aamir Khattak, the RDA Engineering Directorate has started the construction and rehabilitation of a slip road along with the installation of informational signboards at Faizabad Interchange, Rawalpindi. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 15.490 million.
RDA launches Slip Road’s Construction and Rehabilitation at Faizabad Interchange

RAWALPINDI, Mar 07 (APP):On the directions of the Commissioner Rawalpindi and Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Engineer Aamir Khattak, the RDA Engineering Directorate has started the construction and rehabilitation of a slip road along with the installation of informational signboards at Faizabad Interchange, Rawalpindi. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 15.490 million.
The project was inaugurated by Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Punjab and Member Provincial Assembly (PP-17), Raja Hanif. Relevant officials and staff were also present on the occasion.
Under this project, the slip road will be repaired and rehabilitated, while informational signboards will be installed at important locations to provide better guidance to commuters and further improve the traffic management system.
According to RDA officials, the completion of this project will help improve the flow of traffic around Faizabad Interchange and provide better travel facilities to the citizens.
They further stated that the RDA is actively working on various development initiatives aimed at improving urban infrastructure and ensuring better civic facilities for the residents of Rawalpindi.
The project reflects the Authority’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and traffic management in the city. Upon completion of the project the slip road and new informational signboards will help reduce congestion and facilitate smoother movement of vehicles at the busy Faizabad Interchange.
