PTA strengthens 5G readiness through strategic training with Rohde & Schwarz
ISLAMABAD, Apr 02 (APP):The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in collaboration with Rohde & Schwarz (R&S), successfully conducted a comprehensive 5G Training Session at PTA Headquarters, Islamabad.
According to a news release, the program featured in-depth technical sessions on network testing, 5G migration, methodologies and standards, analytics, and TDD measurements, delivered by experts from R&S Pakistan (RSPK), R&S MENA, and trainers from Europe.
Dr. Khawar Siddiq Khokar, Member (Compliance & Enforcement), PTA, in his closing remarks, highlighted PTA’s longstanding partnership with R&S and appreciated the contributions of Managing Director (RSPK) Haris Ali and international experts.
He reaffirmed PTA’s commitment to compliance, transparency, and consumer-centric regulation.
The session emphasized aligning testing methodologies with global best practices and strengthening regulatory oversight to support Pakistan’s sustainable 5G future.
