ISLAMABAD, Mar 06 (APP):Leadership of the Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) met with the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing trade and investment linkages among Pakistan, Romania and Sri Lanka.
According to a press release issued on Friday, Atif Farooqi, Advisor and Chief Operating Officer of the PRBC, called on Sri Lanka’s Consul General P.K. Sanjeewa Pattiwila.
The meeting focused on exploring new opportunities for collaboration and fostering stronger engagement between the business communities of the three countries.
Rifat Ali, PRBC Regional Lead – Insurance, was also present during the meeting. The participants discussed potential areas of partnership in trade facilitation, insurance, and sectoral collaboration.
Speaking on the occasion, Atif Farooqi appreciated the efforts of the Sri Lankan Consul General in strengthening regional commercial relations and promoting closer economic ties among partner countries.
Farooqi, who is also Co-Founder of Fadcloset, a leading leather jacket brand in the United States, reaffirmed PRBC’s commitment to promoting multi-nation business linkages and encouraging sustainable economic development through stronger private-sector collaboration.
