PM, PPP delegation discuss political situation

ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP): A delegation led by Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday and discussed the overall political situation in the country.

Pakistan Peoples Party leader and member of National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Sherry Rehman, Nayyar Bukhari, Nadeem Afzal Chan and Syed Ali Qasim Gilani were part of the delegation.

The Prime Minister said, “Pakistan Peoples Party is our ally and we value our relationship and view it with respect”.

The delegation paid tribute to the Prime Minister for Pakistan’s role in the Gaza Peace Agreement.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Public Affairs Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah and Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan were also present in the meeting.
