ISLAMABAD, Jan 15 (APP):Renowned philanthropist, business tycoon and President of Second World Traders, Inc., Abdul Razzaq Saddiq has announced a landmark humanitarian initiative to provide free snakebite vaccines (anti-venom serum) to every citizen of Pakistan, including those living in remote villages and rural areas.
Addressing a reception here Thursday, Abdul Razzaq Saddiq said that thousands of people die every year in Pakistan due to snake bites, while globally the death toll stands at nearly 138,000 annually because of the lack of timely access to anti-venom.
He stated that his company is committed to eliminating these preventable deaths by ensuring free availability of snake venom serum across the country.

I have come to Pakistan to serve humanity and help save lives,” he said. “Snakebite deaths can be prevented, and we will make sure anti-venom reaches every village.
Abdul Razzaq Saddiq, who has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biological sector, said his group is one of the largest biological companies in the Philippines, supplying life-saving vaccines globally.
He revealed that his company’s vaccines have already generated Rs 10 billion in sales in Pakistan, with major success in pneumonia vaccination programs in the Philippines.
He announced plans to introduce free snake venom serum nationwide, launch tetanus vaccines soon, Provide life-saving vaccines for children, offer cancer medicines at significantly reduced prices and Promote affordable human-saving drugs compared to global competitors.
“There should be no greed in life-saving medicines for money and our priority is humanity, not profit,” he emphasized.
Abdul Razzaq Saddiq shared plans to establish manufacturing units in Pakistan, with some products initially imported while local production is developed.
He stressed the importance of maintaining international-quality standards in vaccines and biological products.
He highlighted that Pakistan’s pharmaceutical exports to the Philippines currently stand at around $457 million, far below its potential.
“Pakistan should achieve at least $1 billion in biological and pharmaceutical exports, and we are ready to play our role in making this possible,” he said.
He said that his company had already opened its office in Pakistan and signed agreements related to serum and venom production, with medical experts, including pharmaceutical sector, contributing to strategic planning.
Meanwhile giving a message of humanity, Concluding his address, Abdul Razzaq Saddiq said that saving human lives is a divine responsibility.
“This is Allah’s message to humanity,we are all human beings and must cooperate to save lives and me and my children will continue this mission in the future.”
The initiative is being widely welcomed by health experts and social circles as a major step toward improving public health and reducing preventable deaths in Pakistan.
