“In today’s world, partnerships are not only built on infrastructure and investment, but also on narratives, perception, and trust,” said Dr. Shazra Mansab. “The CPIC will serve as a structured platform to ensure that the story of Pakistan-China cooperation is communicated with clarity, coherence, and impact.”

Participants included officials from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan Television, Press Information Department, ISPR, CPEC Authority, Pakistan-China Institute, and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.

A key outcome of the meeting was the decision to establish a CPIC Secretariat within the External Publicity Wing of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, marking a concrete move toward institutionalizing the initiative and strengthening Pakistan’s strategic communication architecture.

The meeting also approved the formation of specialized sub-committees on media, think tanks, enterprise engagement, and youth collaboration to drive implementation across key domains.

Discussions focused on upcoming initiatives including a Pakistan-China Media Forum, influencer exchange programmes, joint documentary production, and digital platforms aimed at promoting informed public discourse.
As the initiative moves toward formal launch, the third round of engagements between Pakistani and Chinese stakeholders reflects growing momentum toward a more integrated and proactive approach in the information domain.

At a time when global narratives increasingly shape geopolitical outcomes, the CPIC represents a forward-looking effort to ensure that Pakistan-China cooperation is not only implemented, but also effectively communicated, understood, and sustained.
