Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider on Wednesday called on Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament), Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram and the Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, Barrister Kayser Kamal.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 1 (APP):Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider on Wednesday called on Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament), Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram and the Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, Barrister Kayser Kamal.

Deputy High Commissioner, Muhammad Wasif was also present.

The High Commissioner extended condolences to the Speaker on the demise of his spouse, said a press release.

The two sides exchanged views on the ongoing global crisis and different facets of bilateral relations.

They emphasized the importance of developing parliamentary linkages and cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
