Pakistan ASAN Khidmat Centre to deliver services of Int’l standards, says Shaza Fatima

ISLAMABAD, Dec 31 (APP): Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima said on Wednesday that the Pakistan ASAN Khidmat Centre will deliver services in line with international standards, in accordance with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s digital vision.
The minister made the remarks during a visit to the Pakistan ASAN Khidmat Centre in Islamabad’s G-9 sector, which is being established with the cooperation of Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Shaza Fatima was briefed on service delivery mechanisms, integrated public services, and technology-based facilitation at the center.
Expressing satisfaction with the project’s progress, she described the initiative as a major milestone in ensuring efficient, transparent, and reliable government service delivery.
She said the project marks the beginning of a new era of public services, digital reforms, and modern governance.
The minister further noted that the facilitation center will offer up to 80 government services under one roof.
In order to strengthen the digital governance model of Pakistan, the establishment of such a facilitation centre was crucial, she added.
