ISLAMABAD, Nov 04 (APP):The long-delayed new block of Parliament Lodges, pending for 13 years since 2012, is finally nearing completion.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the under-construction site to review progress on the ongoing work.
During his visit, the minister directed that the project be completed within the stipulated timeframe and emphasized maintaining the highest standards of construction quality. He instructed officials to ensure round-the-clock progress by working in three shifts to expedite completion.
Minister Naqvi said that the completion of the long-stalled project would provide parliamentarians with improved and high-quality residential facilities. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing all public welfare projects, including those at Parliament Lodges, within their deadlines.
Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave a detailed briefing to the interior minister on the project’s progress. CDA Member Engineering and other senior officials also accompanied the minister during the visit.
