ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (APP):Several people were critically injured when a passenger bus overturned on Shahrah-e-Faisal (Faisal Avenue) in Karachi
on Saturday afternoon.
According to rescue officials, the passenger bus had overturned on Shahrah-e-Faisal and in order to free the trapped passengers, the rescue team had to break the bus windows, private news channel reported.
Injured individuals were carefully extracted from the wreckage and immediately taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
Officials stated that while many of the passengers sustained minor injuries, some of them are in serious
condition.
Medical teams are closely monitoring the critical cases and efforts are being made to provide them with the necessary treatment as quickly as possible.
Authorities have also initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
