Mehdi visits Iranian embassy, offers condolences on martyrdom of Khamenei

ISLAMABAD, Mar 09 (APP): Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh, Senator Waqar Mehdi Monday visited the Embassy of Iran in Islamabad to express condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei.
During his visit, Waqar Mehdi recorded his remarks in the condolence book, paying tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei’s lifelong services and contributions to the Muslim world.
He said that the leadership, vision and wisdom of Ayatollah Khamenei would always be remembered in history.
Expressing heartfelt sympathy, Waqar Mehdi extended his condolences to the bereaved family of Ayatollah Khamenei and prayed for patience and strength for them in this difficult time.
He said that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei is a great loss not only for Iran but for the entire Muslim Ummah.
Waqar Mehndi said that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the people of Iran and share their grief.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran.
Waqar Mehndi said that cooperation between the two countries is essential for promoting peace, stability and mutual respect in the region.
