ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 (APP):Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack on Wana Cadet College, describing it as a cowardly act aimed at spreading chaos and fear in the country.
In a statement, the minister said the attack was an attempt to destabilize peace but was successfully thwarted by the swift and courageous response of Pakistan’s security forces.
Leghari said the attack reminded the nation of the tragic Army Public School (APS) Peshawar incident, underscoring that such acts of terrorism could never weaken the resolve of the Pakistani nation.
“We are grateful to our security institutions whose timely action saved hundreds of innocent lives,” he said, commending their bravery, professionalism, and vigilance.
He reaffirmed that the government and people of Pakistan would continue to fight the scourge of terrorism with unity and determination.
“We will keep making sacrifices to ensure a peaceful and terror-free Pakistan,” Leghari asserted, paying tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and security agencies for their relentless efforts to protect the nation.
