KP CM condemns suicide blast at Miranshah check post, seeks report
PESHAWAR, Mar 06 (APP):Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, on Friday strongly condemned the suicide blast at the Miranshah Chashma check post in North Waziristan and took notice of the incident.
The CM directed the Inspector General of Police to submit a detailed report on the explosion and the circumstances surrounding the attack.
He termed the incident, in which civilians were injured, as deeply unfortunate and instructed authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured.
According to officials, the medical staff at DHQ Hospital Miranshah and Rescue 1122 teams have been placed on high alert to deal with the situation.
Sohail Afridi stated that such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot weaken the resolve of the government and the people.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
