Islamabad: 7-Day Shabina Mehfil to begin at Faisal Mosque today

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has completed arrangements for a seven-day Mehfil-e-Shabina at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, which will commence today.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 10 (APP): The Ministry of Religious Affairs has completed arrangements for a seven-day Mehfil-e-Shabina at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, which will commence today.
According to the ministry, selected Huffaz (memorisers of the Holy Quran) from all provinces will lead Taraweeh prayers at Faisal Mosque from the 21st to the 27th night of Ramadan as part of the special gathering.
During the event, recitation of four to five paras of the Holy Quran will be conducted daily. The seven-day programme will conclude on the 27th night of Ramazan with the completion of the Holy Quran, followed by a special collective supplication (dua).
The ministry said the Mehfil-e-Shabina aims to promote spiritual reflection and unity during the holy month of Ramazan.
The event will be broadcast live on Pakistan Television (PTV National) and Radio Pakistan throughout the seven days.
